Schott's new Cavalry Twill Jacket is a short work length with vertical pleats which can expand when needed for extra freedom of motion.  These pleats were originally used on 1920s and 30s workwear.  It features a button front, lower flapped utility pockets, and back fit tabs.  Cavalry Twill is a type of heavy weight twill fabric that is woven with a double warp yarn which gives the fabric distinctive diagonal lines, as well as offering extra strength and durability. The name Cavalry comes from the fact that it was originally used to make uniforms for Cavalry soldiers that needed tough fabrics to withstand horseback riding.
